JD began his career in animal health in 1993 with Bayer Animal Health, where he helped introduce LEGEND, BAYTRIL and ADVANTAGE. After seven years with Bayer he became the first representative east of the Mississippi for Western Vet Supply, which through a series of mergers and acquisitions became Patterson Animal Health. As a leading representative on Patterson’s equine team, he went on to serve as national sales director for Sypharma Animal Health in Australia, then as national sales manager for Kinetic Vet, which was acquired by CIMA Animal Health. He has headed equine sales for the past two years.
Across more than 30 years in the industry, JD has built lasting friendships in the equine veterinary community, a group he describes as close-knit and full of knowledge, integrity and hard work.
